Opec-Plus Compliance Stays Robust

Crude oil production among the 19 Opec-plus members with a quota amounted to nearly 37.6 million b/d in December, a monthly increase of 373,000 b/d, Energy Intelligence's assessment shows. Saudi Arabia overtook Russia as the alliance's largest producer as the latter approaches full capacity. The kingdom produced 10.01 million b/d for the month, compared to 9.95 million b/d for Russia. Angola, which has struggled to meet output requirements in recent months, managed to boost output by 160,000 b/d compared to November and reach 1.19 million b/d.
