China’s apparent natural gas consumption increased by 14.5% in the first 11 months of 2021, to 329.26 billion cubic meters (34.8 Bcf/d), compared to the same period of last year, according to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). China’s apparent gas consumption increased by only 6.9% to 31.78 Bcm in November, causing a significant slowdown from the first ten months of the year, which saw growth of 15.4%.
