Lukoil has reported progress in its plans to develop two oil and gas fields in the north of Russia together with Gazprom. The oil major announced last week that the two companies had created a joint venture in 2021 called Layavozhneftegaz (LVNG), to which Gazprom transferred its licenses for the Vaneyvisskoye and Layavozhskoye fields in the Nenets autonomous region.
