The St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (Spimex) and Russian Railways have finally launched a new program for domestic petroleum product deliveries aimed at increasing transparency. The so-called operator of commodity supplies mechanism, first agreed in 2019 with the help of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, should ensure that products sold on Spimex are delivered by rail in a timely and transparent manner.
