Merjent, a third-party contractor hired by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to oversee compliance for the defunct Atlantic Coast Pipeline and its related and ongoing Supply Header Project (SHP), has had a year-long conflict of interest due to its being a contractor for Berkshire Hathaway Energy's (BHE) Northern Natural Gas pipeline.
