Oil Supply 2023: Non-Opec-Plus Growth Covers Demand Lift

Global liquids output in 2023 can easily meet demand growth as countries not aligned with Opec-plus bring new oil production capacity on stream and increase production of natural gas liquids, Energy Intelligence’s outlook for the year shows. Opec-plus will exercise some restraint at the wellhead to limit inventory growth and bide their time until the second half of the decade when non-Opec-plus experiences a net decline in new oil production capacity.
