Taiwan voters gave the energy transition strategy of centrist Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) President Tsai Ing-wen a vote of confidence Saturday by rejecting referenda to relocate the island state's third LNG receiving terminal and to revive a long mothballed nuclear power plant project.
