January natural gas futures climbed 11.1¢ on the day Friday to $3.925 per million Btu as traders shrugged of a mild weather outlook. However, traders failed to push the contract above the $4 it broke through Monday as the intraday high only reached $3.965. The 12-month strip climbed 9¢ to $3.857 (Natural Gas Futures).
