Woodside last week sanctioned its Scarborough-Pluto Train 2 LNG project, marking the first final investment decision (FID) in Australia in 10 years and the third in the world this year. More are imminent, likely in North America, where projects have been buoyed by commercial interest driven by strong Asian demand and high spot prices.
