Technical Work Prepares SAF Refueling at Airports

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is working on technical aspects of integrating sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) into supply chains around the world to prepare for eventual scaling up of supplies. Convergence of fossil fuels and SAF in the aviation refueling business is also prompting IATA to combine its fuel and environment teams into an Energy Transition division. It will merge its Aviation Fuel Forum with the SAF Symposium starting with its next meeting in Munich, Germany, from May 17-19, 2022.
