Kazakhstan could lose about 200 million euros ($231 million) annually as a result of the EU carbon border tax, given that oil and gas account for about a quarter of the country's GDP, Deputy National Economy Minister Alibek Kuantyrov said at the COP26 conference in Glasgow.
