What that means remains unclear, in terms of whether signatories will stop further investment in fossil fuel projects, for example, or how much money they will invest in green technologies. For individual companies, the picture may be growing clearer through the Corporate Net-Zero Standard that the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has just disclosed.
