  • Petronas and PTT Exploration & Production (PTTEP) are pursuing upstream strategies that are designed to maintain, and even increase, production as oil and gas demand in Southeast Asia continues to grow into the next decade. 
  • The two national oil companies will continue to explore for oil and gas, favoring barrels that are advantaged both in cost and carbon terms.

  • Both companies will use carbon capture technologies to keep emissions in check as they maintain upstream production.
