Heating fuel prices are rising in the Americas and show little sign of simmering. With an anticipated cold winter expected to drive demand higher on the one hand and the impacts of Covid-19 and recent storms pinching supplies on the other, consumers face an expensive heating season. Regional demand will face considerable competition with overseas consumers, adding price pain to inflation, macroeconomic jitters, and other market warning signs.
