Shell Restores Gulf Gas

Royal Dutch Shell has restarted oil and gas production at its Olympus tension leg platform in the Mars Corridor in the US Gulf of Mexico earlier than expected. Hurricane Ida inflicted serious damage to its West Delta-143 transfer station that carries oil and gas from three major fields for processing at onshore terminals.

How much profit inflation will consume will depend on the efficiency gains companies have made over the last few years.
