Three German banks have signed loans totaling €1.1 billion ($1.28 billion) to expand the production capacity of the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex in another step toward Uzbekistan's goal of increasing its deep processing of hydrocarbons to produce petrochemical products with high added value.
