Iran: Rosatom Hopes to End Tehran's Nonpayment at Bushehr

Rosatom and the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) are working to reset their twin-unit newbuild project at Bushehr after a commercial impasse over Iranian nonpayment. With the Iranian economy battered by over three years of escalating sanctions, Tehran is now at least $500 million in arrears on its payments for work on the nuclear power plant on the Mideast Gulf coast.
