Freeport LNG Remains Shut

LNG production at Freeport LNG’s export terminal on Quintana Island, Texas, remained off line Thursday after losing power when Hurricane Nicholas made landfall 65 miles to its west. The 15 million ton per year capacity facility will be shut down “until CenterPoint completes repair work on their system,” Freeport spokeswoman Heather Browne said Thursday.
