Interview: Oklo's CEO Talks About Scaling Up Microreactor

Oklo, a start-up company based in Sunnyvale, California, made waves with its concept of a microreactor, called the Aurora powerhouse, that uses decades-old liquid metal-cooled fast reactor technology, scaled down to 1.5 megawatts of capacity. The company was co-founded in 2013 by Jacob DeWitte, CEO, and Caroline Cochran, chief operating officer. DeWitte recently discussed the company’s plans with Energy Intelligence’s Stephanie Cooke.
