Ida Spares LNG Facilities, Kills More Demand than Supply

The US LNG industry was spared the brunt of Hurricane Ida as the vast majority of facilities sit west of the destructive storm. The powerful system also appeared to kill more demand than it did supply in the Gulf of Mexico, which limited the impact pricing.

The latest snafu on the gas supply network fueling Southern California is dragging on as Kinder Morgan works to repair a rupture on its South Mainline.
