Transneft Seeks Greater Quality Control

Moscow has approved the amended long-term development program for Transneft for 2021-25, the country's national pipeline operator said. The program is solely focused on ensuring the stability of crude oil and petroleum products supplies now that major infrastructure pipeline projects are completed. Transneft, for its part, is seeking greater control over crude quality issues after the incident with the Druzhba pipeline contamination in 2019.
