Natural gas volumes produced by majors in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) fell sharply last year, due largely to the pandemic-driven drop in global demand, company reports show. Declines in gas volumes from BP, Total, Royal Dutch Shell and Exxon Mobil eclipsed the combined 4% drop seen in these companies' liquids output, despite gas not been constrained by Opec-plus production quotas.
