The Petroleum Executive of the Year Award
The international energy industry’s most prestigious award, the
Petroleum Executive of the Year recognizes outstanding leadership by an executive in the international energy industry. Recipients are chosen through a confidential peer selection process involving CEOs and other senior energy executives.
Award winners are honored at a black-tie banquet, which is the marquee event at
Oil & Money. This world-renowned event provides attendees with the invaluable opportunity to network with the most powerful in the industry.
This year, it is our great pleasure to honor Christophe de Margerie, Chief Executive Officer of Total, as the
2009 Petroleum Executive of the Year. Mr. de Margerie was chosen by his peers both for his achievements and his frank views on industry challenges. The
