North Asia Jet Exports Down As China Ramps Up Supply
Trade patterns in Asia are changing as China's refinery build-out reduces its dependence on jet imports and internal demand soaks up more volume from regional exporters. As a result, jet fuel shipments out of major North Asian jet suppliers South Korea and Japan have fallen this year, especially to China. South Korean and Japanese refiners kept runs relatively low in the first part of the year. (Monday, August 30, 2010)
