A Conference Designed for Leaders, Experts and Industry Giants
Oil & Money, the energy industry's premier conference, is co-hosted by Energy Intelligence and the International Herald Tribune.
Since its inauguration in 1979, the Oil & Money conference annually gathers the most significant senior executives from the petroleum and natural gas industry across the globa and continues to set the standard for candid, high-level discussion and debate on issues of the day. Each year, Oil & Money continually attracts over 550 senior level executives from more than 40 countries.
Several key CEOs and Oil Ministers have signed on to speak at the 2012 conference, including Fu Chengyu, Chairman of Sinopec; H.E. Abdalla Salem El-Badri, Secretary General of Opec; Christophe de Margerie, Chairman and CEO of Total; and Ayman Asfari, Group Chief Executive of Petrofac.
Fu Chengyu, chairman of Sinopec, was selected by top oil and gas executives to receive the 2012 Petroleum Executive of the Year Award.
The Award, international energy industry’s most prestigious award, is given in recognition of outstanding leadership by an executive in the international energy industry. Mr. Fu will be presented with the award at the Petroleum Executive of the Year Award banquet, Oil & Money’s marquee event. The 2012 banquet will take place November 12th at The Dorchester, London
A distinguished roster of speakers and panelists lead the two-day conference through lively exchanges centering on issues of current importance, the exchange of confidential insights and the opportunity to network with the industry’s greatest leaders.
Attendees were drawn from the ranks of senior executives at major oil and gas companies — both state-owned and publicly traded — government leaders, financial planners, energy analysts, traders and consultants from virtually every major oil- and gas-producing and consuming nation.
Oil & Money 2012 will take place at the InterContinental London Park Lane Hotel on November 13th – 14th.
