Oman Offers Upstream and Pipe Spend to Sway Iran on Gas Deal

Oman has presented Iran with generous proposals, which include signing an upstream deal and building an offshore pipeline, in the hope of reaching a quick agreement on the import of up to 70 million cubic meters per day of natural gas, but has received no firm response so far, Omani Oil Minister Mohammed al-Rumhi told International Oil Daily in Muscat this week.
